Ramiro Garate family at Wheels and Axles night
The regularly scheduled monthly will be held Thursday, October 13, 2022 The meeting begins at 6:30 pm and runs to 8:00 pm. The meeting will be held at a new venue: Whittier Community Center, 7530 Washington Ave., Whittier, CA 90601. Members and visitors are welcome.
Meeting Thursday, September 8, 2022 begins at 6:30 pm at Adventure Park in Whittier. Members and visitors are welcome.
Hathaway Ranch Museum, where Woodworkers of Whitteir process recycled wood into blocks for children, has been trimming some large trees. Members are free to take some of the pecan and avocado logs and slabs left after cutting down a couple of large trees on the property.
Members are welcome to select some of the cuttings on Monday mornings at Hathaway. Make arrangements before heading to pickup wood. The crew takes ;periodic breaks and you will need to be let into the facility.
