If you enjoy woodworking as a hobby, a professional, or think you might like to learn, then Woodworkers of Whittier might be of interest to you. Membership is open to all woodworkers regardless of skill level. Our ranks include amateurs, teachers, and professionals who enjoy sharing their knowledge and accomplishments with the rest of the club.
Membership in Woodworkers of Whittier costs just $30.00 per year. Membership runs for a calendar year, from January to December. Family memberships are available at a reduced price. Membership is open to adults only, but minors are welcome to attend the meeting with a parent or guardian. Membership dues are used to pay for making toys and blocks for disadvantaged children. The club pays for the wheels and axels put on the toy cars. When our members make 1500 cars, WOW buys 6000 wood wheels and axels. It costs money to run the Hathaway Ranch workshop too.
There is no charge to attend monthly club meetings. You can drop in and visit anytime. Membership includes a copy of the club monthly newsletter, The Pushstick. Other club benefits, such as materials from the club Lumberyard, Club Discounts and mentoring program are available only to members.
